Welcome to the animation take-over. The Association Internationale du Film d'Animation , or ASIFA (ah-see-fa) was formed in 1960 by an international group of animators to coordinate and increase worldwide visibility of animated film. We are a network of animation artists and aficionados who organize in local chapters with the intent to cooperate internationally, and give local animators a platform to learn, exhibit and work.
Membership fees are needed to sustain the basic operations of ASIFA-Atlanta and to organize international communications and projects.
As a member you get discounts to festivals held by all international chapters and free submission to ASIFA Atlanta festivals and showcases. Best of all, it offers you a chance to meet and talk with professionals, students, and other fans of animation!
